Doug will work tirelessly to effectively and smoothly help you buy or sell your next home! You can always count on Doug to listen, communicate regularly, operate with complete integrity and put your interests first!

Doug is originally from Lawrence, Kansas and spent most of his younger days in the Midwest. Doug left his Midwest roots behind in the summer of 2007 moving “home” to Denver. Since then: a lovely wife, three amazing kids, wonderful home, thriving family business (The Horseshoe Market), community and a love affair with this wonderful city!

Doug has been intimately involved with real estate as a customer, purchasing a home with his wife, renovating that home, selling that house and purchasing a new one as their family grew. All along the way there have been renovations, remodels and thousands of DIY projects. Bottom line, Doug knows the challenge and excitement of finding, improving and caring for your perfect HOME!

What Clients Are Saying About Doug…

"Doug was so great to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide guidance throughout the entire process. This was my first time buying a home so I relied heavily upon his skills and experience relating to pricing, inspection items, contract language, etc. He did an awesome job explaining everything in detail and working with the seller’s agent to not only negotiate the price, but also the terms of the contract. I actually couldn’t believe we got the seller to concede on so much in this market, which is a true testament to Doug’s dedication and hard work. He is a genuine and trustworthy person, always putting his clients' best interests ahead of any potential commission. I cannot say enough about my experience with Doug and the entire Live Urban Real Estate team. "

- Mikaela Neumuller, Denver

"Doug was absolutely outstanding and in my opinion, one of the top realtors in Colorado, hands down. He is professional, personable, always prompt, respectful of our time and responded to our emailed questions within minutes. I cannot recommend Doug high enough!

As I sit down to write this, I honestly don't have words for how amazing Doug was as our realtor, and new friend. He made us feel like we were his only client and went above and beyond with each interaction we had with him.

Amazing amazing amazing!"

- Anthony Christian, Denver

"A friend had recommended Doug Yetman, saying he was a very honest, trustworthy person - which turned out to be very true.

Doug was very attentive and worked hard to help us find an appropriate home, taking into account our specific needs, which included a relatively tight time frame in which to view homes. He had a good understanding of neighborhoods and their pluses and minuses, as well as upside and downside of particular properties.

He made sure to stay on top of everything along the way, so that the transaction from offer to closing was all very smooth; adding to the complexity, I was out of the country when most of the contract process including the closing happened, meaning Doug needed to stay on top of things even a bit more. He made sure we were well informed along the way. I strongly recommend Doug."

Q&A With Doug...

Where do you LIVE?
I live, work and play in Northwest Denver. Much of my family's activities take place in a three-mile radius near Broncos stadium and we love what our neighborhood has to offer. We are mere minutes from great schools, incredible food and unique shops! Sloan’s Lake is a short jog or bike-ride away and what a treat to have four breweries less than two miles from our front door!

Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
For me, helping people buy and sell real estate is the perfect and logical intersection of my personal interests and professional skills. Before becoming a licensed real estate agent, I wore many hats relating to homes. From construction worker and painter to leasing agent to landscaper, I know my way around a house!

As a customer, I’ve been through the process of buying, selling and renovating a number homes and know the challenges, excitement and risk/reward challenge of these processes. I have a passion for the lost art of “customer service” and know what it takes to find the perfect home. I’m eager to bring my enthusiasm and experience to helping folks find the perfect match for their needs.

What Music Is Currently In Your iPod?
With three young kiddos, my play list often times is a heavy rotation of Frozen and Free to Be You and Me. Of late, my little girls are allowing me to share some of my tunes with them with surprisingly good results. That said, a few songs get a great deal of airplay: U2's "Where the streets have no name," Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight," and KD Lang’s “Just a Kiss” are getting steady play as we cruise around town.

What Cause Gets Your Time And Money?
Three little girls get most of it, but we are always eager to support grass root efforts to protect our environment—especially the wonderful Colorado outdoors.

Give It Up. What Local Restaurant Is Your Best Kept Secret?
Baked goods of all types from Wooden Spoon in LoHi are always a Sunday morning treat when guests are in town—or we are just feeling like we deserve a special no-cook morning. The Federal Bar & Grill in Jefferson Park does “bar food” like few others with some of the best burgers and a great beer list! Sarto’s (also in Jefferson Park) has what I feel the best Italian food in Denver. Incredible, inventive home-made dishes and extraordinary cocktails served in a stunning, sophisticated environment….count me in!
